- How much does a franchise cost?
The initial set up cost varies depending on your experience and the number of people working in the franchise, please contact us to discuss.
- How long is the initial agreement?
The Franchise agreement is for five years. After five years and if the franchise is successful you will be given the option to renew the agreement.
- What is provided within the franchise fee?
We provide full training and ongoing support allowing you to focus on growing your business. When it comes to systems, we provide a hardware and software package plus IT support.
- Where can I operate my franchise from?
It all depends on the number of employees you intend to take on. We will assist you in identifying a suitable office location as well as checking out the infrastructure to ensure it meets your business needs.
- Can I run my franchise from home?
Yes, assuming you have dedicated space and the building meets the requirements you can work from home. We would suggest if you intend to expand your franchise that you a proactive in identifying a separate office location.
- Will I have to work full time?
We expect the franchise to mirror our business hours of Monday – Friday 9 am – 5:30 pm. If you employ additional staff and the hours are covered, you can personally work the hours you choose. We offer other business support packages including telephone answering, quote taking and holiday cover.
- Can I enter a franchise with a business partner or other colleagues?
Yes, we encourage you to consider all options when looking at franchising. You can choose the business model that works best for you. Your business could be a sole directorship or multiple directors.
- Is additional funding or financial support available?
We have worked with Franchise Funding who can offer several additional funding options. You can also, of course, seek funding support with a bank. We encourage you to discuss all options with your accountant before deciding what is right for you.
- What training will be provided?
We offer full training covering systems and sales as part of your initial set up. Any new employees will have the opportunity to take part in our comprehensive sales training program to ensure they meet the level expected of a UK Computer Supplies employee.
